Data & IT Services

Data The Data & IT Services group specializes in data management, sensitive data.

Our tech-savvy staff offers expertise in solving many data and research issues relevant to social science research and computing. And if we don't have a solution, we probably know who at Duke can help.

Examples of our services:

  • A research project has sensitive data and needs help in navigating the security hurdles, as well as finding an appropriate place to store and analyze the data.
  • A research project wants to create an online data tool to securely collect and display data from a broad base of users over an indefinite time period.
  • An organization needs help managing its data, or wanting some unique programming work done (Stata, SAS, Perl, Python, PHP, SQL, CSS etc...)
