Community Data Skills Building
SSRI hosts a daylong Community Data Skills Building event on Friday, May 5, to offer a day of enrichment for community members and nonprofit staff interested in social science, data, and evaluation. The event is free with breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack provided.
Guests will be able to register for both morning and afternoon workshops and consult with SSRI consultants about their community research projects. Workshop topics will focus on skills that can help community-based work be most successful. These topics include conducting interviews and focus groups, using mapping to understand the community, how to keep data safe and accessible, and best practices for survey design and administration.
