Marcos De Almeida Rangel of the Center for Child and Family Policy has received an award from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation for a project entitled "Immigration Enforcement and Birth Outcomes: Evidence from North Carolina." Total funding will be $136,139 over 18 months.

Deborah A. Hicks-Rogoff has received an award from the U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management for a project entitled "Partnership for Appalachian Girl's Education (PAGE)." 

Carolyn McAllaster of Duke Law School has received an award from the Elton John AIDS Foundation for a project entitled "Southern HIV/AIDS Strategy Initiative (SASI)." Total funding will be $50,000 over 12 months.

James W. Moody of Sociology has received an award from Virginia Tech for a project entitled "[In] Cognitio Veritas: Neural and Cognitive First Principles as Ground Truth for Social Simulation." Total funding will be $188,545 over 48 months.

Robert Saunders of the Center for Health Policy has received an award from the Gordon & Betty Moore Foundation for a project entitled "Improving Care for People with Serious Illnesses: Identifying Opportunities and Strategies for ACO Improvement." Total funding will be $499,656 over 18 months.

Frank A. Sloan of Economics has received an award from the Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network for a project entitled "The Cost of Bladder Cancer to Medicare." Total funding will be $44,047 over 14 months.
