The Food Working Group aims to create a central hub for food research on campus and to foster collaboration amongst Duke researchers working within the multi-disciplinary study of “food”.
In the spring of 2015, the Food Working Group is hosting a Speaker Series showcasing Duke faculty research in areas such as food policy, clinical approaches to obesity, civic ecology, and food safety. Speakers will discuss their latest work for one hour, with a short break for refreshments, followed by Q&A and a broader discussion.

Through this resource Duke researchers will be made aware of one another’s work and benefit from increased communication and knowledge sharing.
